Communications

Communications systems are a key safety element to any personal protection program and are designed to maximize person-to-person, team and remote communications capabilities. Communications systems can be integrated into an SCBA for use in confined spaces, fire applications or industrial uses.

SEMS™ II Personnel Accountability System
SEMS II System functions as a two-way method of communications for all-calls and self-evacuations and monitors the assignment and status of over 100 firefighters on scene.
EPIC RI Wireless Communication Device
EPIC (enhanced Performance integrated communications) wireless system enables respirator users to communicate effectively both locally and to remote locations.
EPIC Voice Amplifier Communication Device
Effective person-to-person communications is now easier than ever with the new Epic voice amplifier. Streamlined and compact in design, the Epic voice amplifier projects the user’s voice clearly and crisply for maximum intelligibility when communicating to other nearby respirator users.
Talk-Around™ Communication Device
The Talk-Around system gives the respirator user a wireless solution to communicate to other similarly equipped users within an approximately 300-foot (90 m) radius. Designed to permit individual teams of users to communicate, the Talk-Around features four user-selectable channels. The system may also be integrated with a two-way radio for some applications.
Hazmat Communication Device
The Hazmat Radiocom gives the user a simple-to-use hardwired interface to a two-way radio for establishing communications to and from remote locations. Available with either a ring finger or large-surface paddle PTT (push-to-talk), the Hazmat Radiocom may be connected to most popular two-way radios.
E-Z Radiocom® II Communication Device
Voice amplification and remote communications may be achieved by employing the E-Z Radiocom II, a user-friendly, light weight system suitable for most firefighting, industrial and military applications. The system’s voice amplifier is powered by three AAA batteries for up to 22 hours of continuous service. Remote communications is powered by the battery of the two-way radio. The system features a large-surface, convenient to access PTT.
Con-Space Link® Communication Device
The Con-Space Link is a facepiece-mounted interface to the Con-Space Hardline System, a two-way, full-duplex communications system designed specifically for enabling continuous communications when engaged in challenging confined space entry applications. The Con-Space Link features a boom-speaker that may be positioned near the respirator user’s ear to promote maximum incoming message intelligibility.
