Escape

Escape respirators are designed for use only to egress from hazardous atmospheres within 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Some escape respirators are used in conjunction with an airline to provide a small source of air in emergencies where an airline air source is severed.

Scott ELSA® Short Duration

The ELSA emergency escape respirator provides 10 or 15 minutes of escape time from toxic environments, even at (IDLH*) levels. ELSA can be worn by those who wear glasses or have beards.

Scott Flite® Airline Breathing Apparatus

The Scott Flite is a positive pressure airline breathing apparatus with the option of a 10 or 15-minute compressed air cylinder supply for escape from the most hazardous environments.

Scott CEN-PAQ® Short Duration

Designed for ease of donning, the CEN-PAQ is used where speed of response is the key issue. The one-size waistcoat allows it to be used where full sized SCBA may be too bulky.
