Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR)

PAPR’s provide a constant, cooling flow of purified air via a blower unit, normally worn around a user’s waist. Ambient air is drawn into the respirator through multiple filters to the user through a breathing tube. These battery powered respirators are ideal for long-term use, such as decontamination cleanup or in hot working environments such as welding. PAPR’s can be used with full or half-facepieces, with hoods, or helmets.

Proflow 3 Powered Air Purifying Respirator

The Proflow 3 PAPR utilizes three filters for maximum respiratory protection and is ideal for first responders and first receivers to use in non-IDLH environments for extended durations or during physical exertion, such as the extrication of victims and decontamination.

Proflow 2 SC Powered Air Purifying Respirator

The Proflow 2 SC PAPR is designed for long-term use in multi-hazard environments with an airflow management system that automatically compensates to provide proper airflow regardless of cartridge type.

Tornado Powered Air Purifying Respirator

The Tornado PAPR can be used in environments where protection from particulates is necessary and is available with a variety of hoods for various applications.

C420 Powered Air Purifying Respirator

The C420 PAPR, unlike traditional industrial PAPR’s, is designed for use in domestic preparedness environments and provides a cooling/fanning effect and a lightweight design for greater comfort during extended wear times.

C420 Plus CBRN Powered Air Purifying Respirator

The Scott C420 Plus CBRN PAPR is ideal for first responders to use in CBRN-related operations such as riot control, decontamination, and HAZMAT response.
