This is a fiber blend of Kevlar 60%/ Nomex 40%, which is a Nomex upgrade option, giving more durable and char length improvement against Nomex IIIA, priced between premium and low cost outershells.

Premium outershell has a fiber blend of 60% Kevlar/40% PBI. PBI gives to the fabric an outstanding resistance to charring up at temperatures that exceed the firefighters biological capabilities (approx 750°F) while keeping its strength resistance.
